This past weekend was our annual Friends Church Retreat. It was Eva's first time "camping" (ok, we were in cabins so it wasn't technically camping). We had a great time. We used the hiking backpack for Eva for the first time and everytime she was in it, she fell asleep right away.

Baby Legs!
Look what mommy and daddy made me. Am I cute or what?!
Mommy has been wanting some for a while but they were too expensive (usually $12 - $14 a pair) so she got directions on how to make them. She made 2 pair for just a couple of bucks. Daddy had to show her how to use a sewing machine because she had never used one before. Thanks grandma DiDi for showing daddy how to use a sewing machine when he was younger.
And thanks grandma F. for walking mommy through threading the machine over the phone.

Rolling Over
Eva rolled over for the first time (unassisted). She did it the evening of her 4 month dr. appointment where her pediatrician had said she is a little behind in the rolling over department, guess she showed him.

Eva's 4 month appointment
Eva had her 4 month dr. appointment this morning. She weighs 14lbs, 3oz (60th%!) and is 24.5 inches long (50th%) and her head is in the 55th% (can't remember the exact #, I think 41). Her doctor said everything looks wonderful and said she is a very strong and social little girl...of course we already knew that. He said she is a little behind on rolling over but he's not worried about it.
She had to get 3 more shots and did really well until hours later when she started screaming. I gave her some baby Tylenol and now she is sleeping....although she still is kind of crying/whining a bit in her sleep.
She has a little bit of a rash on her legs and arms and her doc said she just has sensitive skin and gave me a prescription creme to use for a few days until the rash is gone. And then he said to use Cetaphyl (not sure on the spelling) creme to keep her skin healthy after that.
So, all in all a good appointment. Her next appointment is in 2 months and her pediatrician said everything should be the same until then.

Tag, I'm IT
I've been tagged by Angela, so being one who loves a good game of tag...I'm it, so here goes. Now that you know this much about me...tell me something about you!
Four Things You Might/Might Not Want To Know About Me! Like Angela, I also can put my fist in my mouth. I got caught shoplifting when I was 15. Aaron is the only man I have ever loved. And, I can't wait to have another baby....ok, I can wait but I am really looking forward to it.
Four jobs I've held: Dairy Queen. Meridian Speedway. The Salvation Army. Advocates for Inclusion.
Four movies I could watch over and over: I'm not really a big movie person but I am going to say....the Indiana Jones movies, Footloose and ummm...that's all I can think of.
Places I've lived (in order): Nampa, Idaho; Twin Falls, Idaho; Caronport, Saskatchewan; Boise, Idaho
Four TV shows I like: The Biggest Loser, Eli Stone, Grey's Anatomy, Medium, Psych, Monk....ok, I know that is more than 4 but I like all of them.
Four favorite foods: Mashed Potatoes, Mexican, Ice Cream, Bread
Where I would rather be: At home with my daughter (I'm at work right now).
Four people I am tagging:
Shauna
Brenda

Let's Celebrate!
Well, Eva turned 4 months old on April 30th and that night decided to give mommy a present.....she slept through the night for the first time ever!!! She slept straight through from 9:30pm to 5:30am. Then, I put her pacifier back in her mouth and she slept until 6:20am. I then fed her and she went back to sleep until I woke her up to get her ready for daycare at 7:20am. This is cause to celebrate....so, do whatever you do to celebrate....give a cheer, have a drink, eat some cake, whatever!
