Lauren Beth is here

My sister, Brenda, gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Lauren Beth at 1:01 am on 5/21/09 (her due date). Lauren weighed in at 8lbs, 6oz and was 20.5 inches long.
Congrats to Brenda and Ryan and big brother Luke!

Fairy Eva

We were lucky enough to get a free photo session with Lauren Harms of Ooh LaLa Photography the other day. We haven't seen all the photos yet but here is a preview. Do we have one cute little fairy or what?!

Lookie what I made

I've been wanting to make Eva a fun summer dress and I finally got the motivation today. It's the first dress I've ever made and I didn't use a pattern so there are a few improvements that could be made but I still think it turned out pretty cute.

Happy Easter 2009

Easter 2009 consisted of two easter egg hunts (neither of which Eva was all that impressed with...although she did enjoy playing with the eggs) and hanging out with good friends. Sunday was a full day starting with brunch at church and ending at about 8:00pm when we left Dave, Emily, and Noah's house. Eva had a great time playing with Noah (thanks for sharing all your fun toys Noah) and did a great job despite having no nap. Thankfully she passed out as soon as we put her down when we got home.
