TGIF!

I've been missing my baby girl this week as I have been working full-time while someone else (though they are nice and well-qualified) has been taking care of her. Today as I dropped her off at daycare, kissed her goodbuy and then walked out the door she started screaming/crying. This is the first time she has done this when I left and it broke my heart. I almost cryed all the way to work. I have to just keep telling myself that hopefully this is just short term and before long I will be spending all my time at home with my baby. I'm having a bad day and am so glad that it is Friday.

It's off to work I go

Well, I'm back working full-time. While it's hard to get used to and I would much rather be home with my baby girl, I find solice knowing that it won't be long term (probably 1.5 years at the longest) and the extra money will definitely be helpful. My evenings are more focused on Eva now because I haven't been with her all day and picking her up from daycare is the highlight of my day.

I wanna be like....

Here's a pic of Mike playing tennis while wearing Aaron on his back when Aaron was a baby and a pic of Aaron playing tennis while wearing Eva on his back. How cute!

Time flies!

Our beautiful baby girl is now 9 months old! I miss my tiny baby but at the same time I love all the new fun things she learns every day. Here are a couple of recent pics. If you look closely at the second one you can see her two bottom teeth. :)

Eva's 1st sign!

She's been doing it for at least a few days now but I was not entirely convinced that she knew what she was doing. I am now convinced. Eva can sign "milk". She only does it after she is already drinking her bottle, I can't wait until she uses it to 'ask' for her milk (formula). I am going to try to get a video of it tonight or tomorrow so hopefully I will have one posted soon!
Ok, here's video. We are so in love with this little girl!

Labor Day weekend camping

PACT Reunion

We had a reunion of PACT people (the college church group we were in [and Aaron taught] about 10 years ago). It was great to see people we hadn't seen in years and we had a lot of fun.
